In December 2020,the 6th International Training Course on UNESCO Global Geopark Management and Development is held in Yimeng UGGp, Shandong Province. The representatives from Administration for ADUGGp have took the course.
In the course, there are over 120 participants from UGGps,aUGGps, academic institutes and universities attending.
The training course consists of lectures and group discussions, on-site study and exchange, and case analysis. It combines expert lecture, case analysis, student discussion, and on-the-spot investigation to conduct all-round targeted training and discussion on the concept, standards, declaration, evaluation, and revalidation process of UGGp.
During the training, participants from ADUGGp participated in the International Mountain Day activities in Yimeng UGGp
Such training is a good chance for the administrators of ADUGGp to built their management capabilities. It also provides scientific guidance for the high-quality development of Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark.
