In order to strengthen the construction of the work code and business capacity of the Geopark Administration and consolidate the implementation of the inspection and rectification responsibilities, the Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration recently arranged and deployed the overall work of “strengthening the work code, improving the efficiency, and establishing the image” in combination with the Special Action Work Plan of the League Forestry and Grassland Bureau.

In this study, it is strongly advocated that we should get on doing this as soon as possible, adhere to the principles of "supplementing what is missing" and "improving efficiency and quality", and develop a one-week intensive learning plan. Through the participation and reading of all the staff, the whole administration learned the contents of laws and regulations of natural reserves such as the Regulations on Natural Reserves, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wild Animals, the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wild Plants, the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wetlands.  This has laid a solid theoretical foundation for carrying out the work of the Natural Reserves and Geopark Administration.  Moreover, it also strengthened our confidence and determination to do a good job in the area of natural reserve.

Through learning, all members of the Geopark Administration deeply realized that carrying out the work of wildlife and wild plants protection and natural reserve construction is a major action taken by the Party Central Committee and the State Council to strengthen the protection of natural environment and resources.  We should always put XI Jinping’s thought on ecological civilization in the first place.  We should unify our thinking, pool our strength, improve our ability and fulfill our duties.  Aiming at the severe problems in nature reserves, we should carry out protection work accurately, scientifically based on laws.  We should achieve the objectives of natural resource survey, environmental protection monitoring, scientific research and popularization, to make a great contribution to the high-quality development of forestry and grassland cause, and promote the construction of ecological civilization in the whole League.
