At the end of Sept,2022, the publicity boards of Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark were exhibited at Taishan UNESCO Global Geopark. It is a part of geoparksmutual publicity activities launched by Alxa Desert UGGp.  It aims to give full play to the purpose of building geoparks network;to further promote substantive cooperation and exchanges between global geoparks;to continuously expand the popularity and influence of geoparks;to help optimize the business environment;to serve the high-quality development of the local tourism economy.

The exhibition lasted for 2 months (October 1-December 31), with a total of 52 publicity boards, which not only cover the typical geoheritages and landforms of the Alxa Desert UGGp, but also fully displaythe history and culture with the characteristic of Alxa.On the one hand, it has provided strong support forpromoting Alxa and telling the story of Alxa.  It also has laid a good foundation for effectively boosting the sustainable development of geoparks and for in-depth cooperation and exchanges between them.

Such mutual publicity activities was first carried our in 2020.  It has been a successful communication model with other global geoparks, to fully demonstrate the natural landscape and characteristic culture of Alxa to tourists from all over the world, so as to further enhance the popularity and influence of Alxa Desert UGGp and boost the high-quality development of local tourism economy. For a long time, Alxa Desert UGGp has maintained a good cooperative relationship and close contact with Taishan UGGp, and has carried out many learning and exchange activities in many fields such as geopark construction, geoheritage protection and conservation, scientific researches and sciencepopularization.  A successful publicity activity cannot be held without strong support and positive response from Taishan UNESCO Global Geopark.

The next step, Alxa DesertUGGp plans to keep cooperating with other global geoparks, to further promote the "Global Geoparks–Mutual Support" activity. It is hoped thatby displaying the unique charm of the Alxa Desert UGGp to the world, more tourists at home and abroad can understand Alxa, like Alxa, and fall in love with Alxa.
