"Once a choice, a lifetime of dedication" - these eight words encapsulate the 50+ years of border patrol and defense by Mr. Nima. On October 21, the Secretary and Director of the Alxa Desert UGGp Administration, Huang Tianbing, along with some management team members and officials, visited Mr. Nima, a model of the North Border of China, in Tamusubulage Town in Alxa Youqi (Right Banner). They listened to Mr. Nima's story of serving at the borders, inspiring listeners to emulate role models and work alongside them, driving the in-depth implementation of the themed education through learning and practicing Xi Jinping's New Era of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. Meanwhile, the teachers and students of the geological survey team from China University of Geosciences(Beijing), who are currently conducting geological heritage surveys in Alxa Youqi (Right Banner), also participated in the activity.

Since the launch of the second batch of the themed education, the Alxa Desert UGGp Administration has been following the overall directive of "fostering ideological understanding, strengthening natinoal spirit, emphasizing practical engagement, and building new accomplishments." They have fully implemented the crucial requirements of "casting the soul through learning, increasing wisdom through learning, rectifying the moral through learning, and promoting action through learning." This has been achieved by organizing geopark staff in activities such as "learning from role models in their midst" and showcasing innovations in the sand industry through exhibitions. These measures have transformed the themed education into a more engaging, profound, and effective learning experience.
