The occurrence of desert sandstorm is closely related to greenhouse effect and EL Nino phenomenon. Besides, overgrazing and over logging practices, industrial, mining and traffic construction disturb the ground surface structure to a great extent, which further contributes to the desertification and the emergence of sand storms.
