In 2021, Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark will take the 3rd revalidation since it titled as an UGGp. A meeting of the past 4 years working progress has been held on July 24th, Prof. TIAN Mingzhong, from China University of Geosicences (Beijing) and his team, as expert advisory group for ADUGGp were invited to the meeting. The administration management team from Administration for ADUGGp, Alxa Zuoqi and Alxa Youqi Branch were also participating the meeting.
In the meeting, exchange and guidance were carried out in the aspects of Geopark infrastructure construction, scientific research and popularization, geoscience tourism promotion, publicity and promotion, especially local sustainable development. There are several achievements and highlights of the work have been done of ADUGGp in past four years. For the following years, guidance were also been put forward for ADUGGp.
