Base on the notice from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region official departments, to overcome the effects caused by COVID-19 and re-boost tourism in Alxa, a favorable admission policy is carried out in Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark, such as museums of Alxa, Ejin, Alxa Youqi, Helan Mountai, Eribugai Valley etc., have all together signed a commitment letter to provide a favorable ticket price.  Special free admission for the students, tourist groups, and workers who have been working during COVID-19 the hardest time in China.

This initiative has played a positive role in helping visitors come to Alxa to learn about Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark and experience desert culture.
