In order to better protect and rationally develop and utilize the geological heritage tourism resources in Alxa, promote the local tourism economic development and ecological environment protection, and promote the vigorous development of Alxa tourism. A training course particular designed for geopark administrators and staff was held.  There were over 50 geopark staff attended the course.

Three lecturers delivered interesting courses on geology,ecology, culture and history in Alxa DUGGp,such as the natural landscape alluvial fan in Ejin, the dynamic characteristics of desert and lakes of Western Inner Mongolia in recent 30 years, the Han Dynasty cultural and city remains significance.

The training has laid a good foundation for promoting the great and sustainable development of Alxa DUGGp.
