On Novomber 15th, the Camel Cultural Nadam Festival is on in Ejin, Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark, which has opened up winter tourism in Alxa.

In recent years, Ejin Banner of Alxa, in order to effectively protect Alxa Bactrian camel, a precious local superior animal resources, has made efforts to optimize the herd structure, explore the methods of professional and large-scale development of the camel industry, spreading the camel culture, vigorously cultivate camel industry, and constantly accelerate the pace of green and high-quality development of camel industry.  Therefore, the camel industry has become a new agriculture and animal husbandry industry in Ejin Banner, and "camel culture Nadam" is a grand gathering of camel industry, sports competition and cultural tourism.  At the same time, it also shows the unique cultural charm of Juyan in Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark.
