On November 12th, 2020, Administration for Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geoparkhas invited Professor TIAN Mingzhong from China University of Geoscience (Beijing)and professor level senior engineer WANG Cheng from Ningxia Geological Survey Institute, held a seminar for the coming revalidation task in 2021. The administrator team of administration for Alxa UGGp have participate the seminar.
At the seminar, several topics of Alxa UGGp have been discussed, such as geological evolution history, geoheritage types, geological science research and revalidation tasks etc., Prof. TIAN and Prof. WANG have shared the successful experience and practice of participating in and guiding the construction of geoparks for many years.
Professor TIAN Mingzhong, as one of the most experienced geopark expert in China, he has been concerned about guiding the application, development, construction, scientific research, popularization and revalidation of ADUGGp, and have paid a lot of efforts.
Mr.HUANG Tianbing, the director of the Administration of ADUGGp, officially invited Professor TIAN Mingzhong and professor level senior engineer WANG to become experts of the ADUGGP, and awarded the letter of appointment.
