On November 12th, 2020, Mr. ZHU Pengguang, the director of Administration for Zhangye UGGp and his team of 4 staff visited Alxa UGGp, held a communication session as twinning geoparks.
Zhangye UGGp is located in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, it signed twinning agreement with Alxa UGGp in 2020.
At the communication session, both geoparks reached a consensus on further cooperation in more fields such as geological heritage protection, scientific research and popularization, publicity and promotion. It has opened a new channel for cooperation and exchanges between the two geoparks in a wider field.
