For a better working arrangement in 2022, on 1st March, Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration held a meeting summarized 2021 annual work and discussed 2022 plans. The meeting was hosted by Director of Alxa DUGGp Administration, Mr. HUANG Tianbing. All staff of the administration,the staffs of Alxa Forestry and Grassland Bureau attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the head of each departments summarized and reported the work done and the deficiencies and problems found in 2021. Ideas for the development of 2022 work were also raised in the meeting. The director of each administration branch in charge made specific comments on the work in 2022. The team from Alxa League listened the work of each department and put forward specific guidance for the geopark work in 2022.
Director HUANG said, in 2021, we work together over come the difficulties caused by COVID-19 pandemic in Alxa for the first time, looking forward in 2022, we do believe we could keep our good and unique geopark management experiences, highlight the characteristics of Alxa, do the annual work with high standards, and make solid preparations any time for the revalidation and inspection in strict accordance with the evaluation requirements of UNESCO.
