In an effort to deepen and solidify the understanding and implementation of the national development concept raised by Chinese President Xi Jinping, on October 22, the management staff of Alxa Desert UGGp Administration ,  joined the students and teachers from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), who are currently engaging in geological heritage survey within the Badain Jaran in Alxa Youqi, both of the groups took practical action on "Remembering and Promoting Ecological Civilization."

During the event, the Director Huang Tianbing of the Alxa Desert UGGp Administration detailed the institution's recent endeavors in implementing Xi Jinping's ecological civilization philosophy. These efforts have included strengthening geological heritage investigations and preservation, as well as advancing the development of the geopark. Professor Tian Mingzhong from China University of Geosciences (Beijing) delivered an engaging "outdoor party lesson" on the theme of "The Development History of Geoparks." This lesson provided a comprehensive view of the geoparks achievements made in recent years. These achievements, guided by Xi Jinping's ecological civilization philosophy, encompass the protection of geological heritage, scientific research, popular science education, promoting local economic development, and enhancing the quality of life for people. This helped everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the significance and substantial responsibilities involved in upholding and practicing Xi Jinping's ecological civilization philosophy.

The participating members expressed their commitment to thoroughly embody the "lush mountains and lucid waters are invaluable assets" principle. They pledged to diligently conduct geological heritage investigations and strive to achieve more significant and better results. Their aim is to make substantial contributions to the ecological civilization construction for the territory.
