On January 26, the Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark held a seminar in Bayanhot to promote high-quality study tours. Around 40 participants attended, including officials from tourism and education sectors, schools, research institutions, cultural enterprises, and media representatives.Eight organizations, including the Geopark Administration and local tourism companies, shared insights on market trends, product development, and educational programs for student study tours. Discussions highlighted study tours' growing potential in combining education with travel—enhancing youth's scientific literacy, cultural awareness, and social responsibility.
Participants agreed that leveraging Alxa's unique resources and the Geopark's reputation can foster more high-quality, locally themed study tours. These initiatives aim to inspire young learners through immersive experiences while contributing to the region's sustainable tourism growth.
