On January 25, the Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration organized an educational lecture on wild bird conservation. The event, chaired by Deputy Director Peng Tao, featured Wang Zhifang - president of Alxa Bird Protection Association and member of China Photographers Association - as keynote speaker.

Attended by 45 professionals from the Geopark's regional branches and Alxa Forestry and Grassland Bureau, the lecture showcased stunning bird photography ,species distribution and population status,identification techniques,behavioral characteristics.

This visually engaging session enhanced participants' conservation awareness and professional skills, strengthening their commitment to protecting Alxa's biodiversity. The knowledge gained will directly support improved wildlife protection efforts across the region.
