On May 20, 2024, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Global Geoparks Network and to promote cooperation, exchange, and publicity among Geoparks, Alxa Desert Global Geopark jointly organized an online promotion conference on educational tours products and route titled "Directors of Geopark Take You to Visit the Geopark" with 45 domestic Geoparks.

Guided by the GGN, APGN, and the National Geopark Network Center, the participating Geoparks cover six major geographical regions in China, including North China, Northeast China, Northwest China, East China, Central South China, and Southwest China. They possess diverse   geological landscapes such as aeolian landform, Danxia landform, granite, glaciers, Karst, volcanoes, quartz sandstone peaks, Yardangs, spanning multiple geological eras, climates, ecological habitats, and ethnic cultural systems. This vividly showcases China's diverse and spectacular geological landscapes and geopark culture. Representatives from 45 geoparks such as Alxa Desert in Inner Mongolia, Danxia Mountain in Guangdong, Stone Forest in Yunnan, Yimeng Mountain in Shandong, Lushan Mountain in Jiangxi, Yandang Mountain in Zhejiang, Wudalianchi in Heilongjiang, Shennongjia in Hubei, Dabie Mountain in Huanggang, Jiuhua Mountain in Xiangxi, Linxia, and Enshi Grand Canyon-Tenglong Cave, as well as research and study institutions, the Geological Society of China, the Geotourism Branch of China Tourism Association, the National Silk Road Cultural Research and Study Travel Industry-Education Integration Community, and the Gansu Provincial Tourism Association, attended the conference.

Huang Tianbing, the Director of Alxa Desert Global Geopark Administration , delivered a welcome speech as the host. He Qingcheng, the Executive Deputy Director of the National Geopark Network Center and the Director of the Global Geopark Network Office, was invited to attend the online meeting and delivered a speech. Representatives from 12 domestic Global Geoparks and 14 related educational tour  institutions actively shared their experiences and insights on various topics, including educational tour routes, experience curriculum development, Science Popularization Research and Study instructors, and reception standards for research study teams in their respective Geoparks,actively promoting exchanges and cooperation in the domestic educational tour market.

Huang Tianbing, the Director of Alxa Desert Global Geopark Administration expressed, "We hope to attract more domestic research and study institutions to participate in the investment and development of Alxa's study tour routes through this online promotion conference. Meanwhile, we aim to leverage the brand influence and bridging role of the Global Geopark to establish a platform for domestic Global Geoparks to share their educational tour projects, curriculum, and operational management experiences. We strive to provide the society with more high-quality science popularization study routes and products, contributing wisdom and strength to promoting the sustainable development of Global Geoparks and enhancing awareness of earth protection."

To promote cooperation, exchange, and promotion among Geoparks, Alxa Desert Global Geopark, along with 45 domestic geoparks, jointly organized a series of activities for the 55th Earth Day and Asia-Pacific Promotion Week, the 20th Anniversary of the Global Geoparks Network, achieving fruitful results. To hold an online promotion conference on educational tours courses and routes named the "Geopark Directors Take You to Visit the Geopark" is an important part of these activities.
