To celebrate the 25th International Biodiversity Day and raise awareness about desert ecosystems, the Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration partnered with the SEE Foundation and the Alxa Bird Conservation Association to host a special family nature workshop—"Discovering the Miracles of Life in the Desert." The event was livestreamed on Douyin (TikTok China) for broader engagement. 

At Hailiuqi Lake Camp in the Tengger Desert, 15 participating families embarked on an interactive adventure featuring including desert birdwatching, secrets of desert plants, ecosystem exploration games. 

Geopark stuff helped families identify local wildlife, while live interviews and real-time Q&A sessions to online audiences, making science both fun and accessible. 

Moving forward, the Geopark will expand its "Virtual Geopark Tours" initiative, collaborating with educators to design immersive workshops and interactive learning programs for students and nature enthusiasts alike.
