The 15 contestants from the eight middle schools of Alxa, from protecting the environment to cherishing resources, told the earth story in their own way. By encouraging middle school students to participate in the such speech contest, the sense of responsibility for protecting the earth resources and ecological environment of young people are strengthen.
Moreover, popular science publicity materials were distributed to audience and public. There are over 600 popular science books and other popular science series books compiled by ADUGGp, such as "100 Q&A of popular science knowledge", "Vast Desert, Wonderful Geological Landscapes", "Rare Desert Species, Tenacious Praise Life" , were given to the middle school students who watched the competition, aims to help students to well understand the natural resources and love the beautiful environment of their hometown.
The set up of such practical training improving the science popularization infrastructure of ADUGGp. In order to promote geoscience education further, there are 8 middle schools entitled with "ADUGGp Youth Science Popularization Cooperation Unit". Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark is the idea place for teenagers to learn geoscience, and to carry out science popularization education together with schools, let popular science knowledge enter campus, let the youth accept geoscience popular science education.
