“China Labor Day” long week-end holiday is on the way, and it is typical tourist-peak season in Alxa, staff of Administration for Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark have conducted a safety check and regular patrolling in Aolunbulage on April 25.

It was found that there were 2 interpretation billboards which were respectively built in the Neverland Canyon and Rengenfeng, have potential damages due to special strong wind environment and climate.  Therefore, it cannot properly read to popularize, also bring certain security risks.  After immediate on-site coordination, a detailed repair plan has been set and carried out afterwards.

Aolunbulage is one of the key geosites of Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark. Since the establishment of the Geopark, there are nearly one million yuan have been invested in geosites protection projects.  Through the implementation of geological heritage protection projects over the years, the information center of the scenic spot has been upgraded or built, and more than 20 safety facilities such as road signs, safety warning signs, science popularization signs and other safety facilities have been constructed, which has played a positive role in improving the infrastructure construction and improving the service level of ADUGGp.
