On February 13, 2018, a group of Administration for ADUGGp conducted an geopark inspection in Badain Jaran Desert, geopark museum and Mt. Mandela Rock Painting .

It is actually a part of regular patrolling schedule, at each year’s beginning/end.  In order to effectively protect the geoheritages and keep smooth operation of Geopark Museum, such inspection in ADUGGp is very important, and necessary.  The staff first checked the equipment and monitors were working  in the Geopark Museum, and stuck Chinese New Year couplets; then, the remote monitoring system in Badain Lake was checking and maintained; the staff brought batteries and inverters to the herdsmen on duty at Mandela mountain rock painting , which solved the suffer of no electricity when the personnel on duty.

Last but not the least, new year’s greetings was sent to the staff on duty who will do patrolling during the holiday time, to ensure a peaceful and happy Chinese New Year.
