July 10-13, 2018, the 2nd International Conference was held by Korea Geoparks Network in Mudungsan Mt. UNESCO Global Geopark, representatives from GGN, Korean Global Geoparks participated the conference. The representative of ADUGGp has attended the conference too.
In the conference, delegate from Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark has delivered a report about “The integration of desert tourism and sustainable development of Alxa Desert UNESCO Geopark”, and actively communicated with other delegates and experts of UNESCO Global Geoparks. It has been a good way to promote ADUGGp on the construction achievement, share experiences, meanwhile to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation with other geoparks. Due to the great support from ADUGGp to support Korean Geopark Network, a Plaque of Appreciation Award was given, and more cooperation, development and exchange activities was expected to be carried out between ADUGGp and APGN/ GGN.
