At the beginning of 2020, COVID-19 outbroke in China, Administration for Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark took rapid response and actions to prevent the spreading of the epidemic in Alxa, and took the social responsibility to ensure Alxa residents have a minimum effects. 

In accordance with the arrangements of local government and the Forestry and Grass Bureau.  Effective help was provided by Administration for ADUGGp with the Mandula Community, carried out the epidemic prevention and control tasks for residents in Feicuicheng , Yufengjingcheng and lianrijiayuan.

In this war without gunpowder smoke, Administration for ADUGGp has made great effort to ensure the people's life safety and health at first priority, continuously improving administration capability level, contributing geopark strength to fight the epidemic.
