The Youth and Students Activity Center of Alxa Zuoqi has been approved as a study-research and practice education base for primary and secondary school students in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which was announced recently by the education department and culture & Tourism Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark always focus on the education demands for primary and secondary school students, conducting science popularization educational activities, such as "Silk Road Research and Learning", "Desert Research and Learning Activities" and "Parent-child Growth Camp" in Tengger Desert.  In 2019, there were nearly 100 geoscience research groups, more than 5000 people participating in science popularization activities.
