On the 49th World Environment Day, June 5, Alxa Desert Global Geopark held an activity "Beautiful China, Let Me Protect" in Bayanhot.

The activity popularized Eco-environmental protection knowledge and called on everyone to develop the habit of thrift, low-carbon and environmental protection in daily life.  At the same time, it also introduce the geological knowledge of Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark and the protection, conservation of geological heritage to the public.  More than 200 brochures/flyers on geoheritage conservation were distributed to the public.
