From June 10th to 17th, four experts including Chang Zhihua and Yu Xin etc., have visited Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark, accompanied by the Administration for ADUGGp Director Mr.Huang Tianbing, the working group visited 27 typical geosites to investigate the geoheritages and landscape in Alxa.

After the field trip, the administration for ADUGGp hold a discussion session with invited leaders and experts from Alxa Forestry and Grassland Bureau, Alxa Science and Technology Bureau, Alxa Culture &Touris &Radio &Television Bureau, Forestry Research Institute, and S.E.E. eco-association, sharing field trip report, and discuss warmly and deeply on how to tell “Alxa story”, conduct scientific activities and build characteristic desert brand.  Many valuable opinions and suggestions were put forward at the symposium.  Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark is planning in the future to upgrade science popularization as a special brand with international influence, better serving for Alxa's sustainable development.
