From August 24th to 28th, Prof. TIAN Mingzhong, of China University of Geosciences (Beijing)with other 2 experts of his team, carried out technical support works in Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark. The expert team together with the management team from Administration for ADUGGp took onsite inspection to museums in ADUGGp and interpretation boards etc.,providing several pertinent opinions and gives specific guidance on the site.
A seminar has been followed after the onsite inspection, the management team of Administration for ADUGGp and its branches organization have participated the seminar. It is emphasized that the ideas of being an UGGp, clarified the important listed details on the revalidation self-checking forms, a lots of works have been done in the past, but there are always having improvements need to be further done, so as the difficulties and problems encountered need to be overcome. In the next stage, the work has been clarified, for a well prepared coming revalidation in 2021.
