On November 21, in order to further promote the in-depth integration of Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark and cultural tourism, to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, Mr. HUANG Tianbing, diretor of Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration, was invited to lead a team to the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Alxa League, discussed tourism cooperative development potential, and to carry out extensive and in-depth discussions and exchanges.
At the meeting, two sides have discussed topics such as resource integration, brand building, publicity and marketing, and the establishment of sister cities. Both parties agreed that they are closely related in business, due to which, it is easier to form a joint force. Therefore,in-depth cooperation should be strengthen, as well as working together to boost Alxa tourism and tell Alxa’s stories.
NARANTuyaa, director of Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Alxa League, pointed out that Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark, the only world-level brand in Alxa, has huge market potential to be the shining example of the development of cultural tourism. Culture is the soul of tourism. Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration has solid foundations and great achievements in geological culture, scientific research, popularization of science, and tourism. It is hoped that at the end of this year and the beginning of next year, the two parties will jointly plan the next year's work, further refine the cooperation about brand creation, resource sharing, publicity, popularization of science, etc., and strive to achieve practical results.
Director HUANG Tianbin said that Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration and the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Alxa Leaguehave always had long-term friendly cooperation and close contact. The two parties have huge cooperation advantages and potentials in facilitating the development and implementation of tourism projects, joint publicity and marketing, and integration of tourism routes. HUANG also put forward 11 specific cooperation suggestions centering on mutual publicity, policy making, information exchange, tourism products, interpretation system, cultural and creative products, etc.
The next step, Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark will establish a cooperation mechanism with the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Alxa League, refine the win-win cooperation project to provide the culture and tourism of Alxa with a high-quality world-level platform, a base for popularization of science and scientific research, and more convenient conditions. The two sides will work together and help each other to enhance the brand of Alxa Desert in the world and to promote the win-win development of local tourism.
