This September marks the 40th National Unity and Progress Month in the autonomous region of Inner Mongolia. To fully, accurately, and comprehensively understand and implement the important thoughts of President Xi Jinping regarding strengthening and improving ethnic work, the Party Branch of the Alxa Desert UGGp Administration has embarked on activities themed "Expressing Gratitude, Striving for Progress, Following the Party's Lead, and Serving as a Model in Constructing a National Model Region." They have adopted diverse, innovative measures to meaningfully and effectively conduct the dissemination and education of the significance of strengthening the collective sense of the Chinese nation, while actively fostering an atmosphere of harmonious and progressive national unity.

Conduct specialized learning on theories and policies of national unity. Organize a collective learning session for the Party Branch, inviting non-party members to participate. The learning will delve into the important speeches made by President Xi Jinping during his visit to Inner Mongolia, the decision of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's Communist Party on comprehensively building a model region, and the regulations on promoting this process. This ensures that the Party's theories on national unity and its policies are understood and implemented by the right people, and that the efforts towards national unity and progress are advanced into the departments or offices.

Initiate a themed one-day event focused on national unity and progress. Organize the party members and officials to visit the geopark in Bayanhott Town dedicated to the sense of unity and integration of the Chinese nation. They will participate in the "Expressing Gratitude, Striving for Progress, Following the Party's Lead, and Serving as a Model in Building a National Model Region" theme party day activities. By exploring the 21 sculptural exhibits within the geopark, the officials and members deepen their understanding of the significance of unity and integration of the Chinese nation. This further promotes the construction of a shared cultural home for all ethnic groups, fostering an environment of mutual respect, inclusiveness, and mutual support among all ethnic communities, thereby ensuring harmonious coexistence.

Organize a sharing session on ethnic unity stories shared by President Xi Jinping. The session will feature the sharing of stories by government agency Party members and officials, focusing on stories such as "The Birth of the First Communist Party Members in Inner Mongolia: A Reflection of the Party's Attention to Ethnic Issues in Its Early Years", "Building Together: The Most Beautiful Morning Tune in the Steel City of Grassland", and "The Return of the Tuerhute: A Demonstration of the Strong Cohesion and Centrifugal Force of the Chinese Nation". These are well-known and moving stories of ethnic unity and solidarity. The stories will be presented from various perspectives and levels, vividly illustrating the historical facts that all ethnic groups in Inner Mongolia share a sense of destiny, honor, life and death, and are inseparably connected. This provides profound inspiration for everyone.

Moving forward, the Alxa Desert UGGp Administration team  will firmly grasp the unifying theme of the Chinese nation as one, enhancing the propaganda and education on ethnic unity and progress. They will delve into practical applications, actively seeking innovative approaches, and continuously consolidate the ideological consensus on safeguarding ethnic unity and mutual progress.
