On April 22nd, marking the 55th World Earth Day, Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark Administration organized a special science education tour at the Xiaosongshan section of Helan Mountain. Co-hosted by Alxa Mongolian High School and Helan Mountain Nature Reserve Administration, the "Exploring Geological Wonders, Embarking on an Extraordinary Journey" program aimed to enhance public understanding of earth sciences and promote geoheritage conservation awareness.

The interactive tour engaged sophomore students from Alxa Mongolian High School through:On-site lectures about World Earth Day and UNESCO Global Geoparks' significance,Geological explanations of Helan Mountain's formation and landforms by geopark experts,ecological presentations on local flora and fauna by reserve staff.Science-themed games to reinforce learning through fun activities.This immersive experience enabled students to participate in field geological observations.

The program successfully combined scientific education with nature appreciation, fostering stronger environmental stewardship among participants while showcasing the unique geological heritage of their homeland.
