On April 26, 2019, kids and their parents from Kindergarten of Alxa Youqi, Inner Mongolian came to the herdsmen's home located in ADUGGp to experience traditional pastoral life and visit geopark museum.

During the research and study activity, children worked as a herdsman, did what an ordinary herdsman does in daily life, feeding the lambs, collecting the firewood, shearing wool, rubbing wool rope, milking sheep, making Mongolian milk tea and helping their parents cook traditional Mongolian food.  During the visit to Geopark Museum, children and their parents learnt the formation of huge sand dunes and desert lakes, the mystery of singing sand , the species of desert plants, the indigenous culture, the origin of Mongolian costumes etc.

Both kids and their parents were very happy about what they have experienced and learnt on the day, the kids get known more about their own hometown, the unique life style as a Mongolian ethic, the amazing landscape where their home is located, and proud of being a resident of Alxa.
