Upcoming "China Tourism Day" 2019, Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark launched “Integrating culture, tourism with ecological research, studying in nature”popular science activities, particular designed for primary school students, “To know the elf in Populus Forest”, aims to study and research the insects and plants in the populus forest in Ejin of ADUGGp .

Professional tutors, who are specialized on animals and plants, delivered an interesting outdoor class to 100 pupils about insects and plants living in the Populus forest.  

Such ecological science education class is one of the activities for primary and secondary school students, there are more than 10 activities organized in recent years.  Professional teachers, experts and scholars in the field of forestry and grassland were invited and brought various thematic lectures, by taking the advantage of Alxa DUGGp unique ecological environment to advocate natural resource protection concepts and raise the proudness of being the little owners of the geopark.
