In order to further strengthen the management of road signs in ADUGGp, the Administration for Alxa Desert UNESCO Global Geopark has been conducting regular inspections on roads inside the geopark.

In recent years, Tonghu has a leading role in the geoheritages conservation, promoting Alxa’s economic and local ethnic cultural tourism development, The aim of this inspection is to check the proper use of geopark road signs around the Tonghu, especially after there were new roads were constructed passing through ADUGGp.  Each road sighs within UGGp is connected with the visibility of a geopark, therefore proper use of road signs is a must for sustainable development for UGGp.
